Haha, I literally /just/ read that analogy by a_candle_for_sherlock! I was looking at who you're following (subscribing?) so far and that's one of the names I know of old so I went right over there and checked it out, too. It's a really good analogy, I think. I love tumblr a lot -- it's been my first real online space, and it's given and taught me a lot -- and I'm feeling a bit stumped here with the lack of global tags to search for content the way I'm used to, tbh, but... I wasn't anticipating how strangely grounding it feels to be here. I think I can get used to it, if (hopefully) not as a full replacement for tumblr, then as a second fannish space to occupy.
